Lliria (pronounced Yeeria) is a medium sized town off the CV35 to the north of Valencia. It is the capital of music for the Valencian Community. At the heart of the town is a delightful square with a newly restored huge church and a town hall. There is a small municipal market open each day until 2pm and a weekly travelling market drops by Lliria on Thursdays.
Lliria is well served by road and metro. Valencia is only 20 minutes drive from Valencia on the excellent CV35 - beaches are around the same distance away. The beautiful park of St Vicent is a couple of minutes drive from the centre of Lliria. |
